Matthew 6:25-34
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if Adonai so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of Adonai, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The Birds
Have you ever watched the little birds flying through the sky? They are happy. They have no worries. They are not afraid. Every morning they wake up singing. Each day they are thankful for the food they find to eat. They do not worry about food for tomorrow. They know there will be food for them tomorrow. They trust Adonai to take good care of them.
You and I must be like the birds. We must be happy and sing praises to Adonai every morning, every day. We must not worry about our food for tomorrow. Adonai, who made the birds and helps them find food each day, will help us to have food each day also. We must trust Him. We are worth much more than many birds.
The Lilies
Have you ever seen lilies? They are beautiful cup like flowers that often grow in the fields. They have lovely petals. Sometimes these flowers are pure white. Yeshua said these lilies are clothed more beautifully than the great rich King Solomon was! Yet the lilies do not worry what they shall wear or what they shall put on. Adonai has given them their beauty and dressed them in pretty colors. You and I must learn to trust Adonai for our clothes. He made us and He wants us to trust Him for things to wear. We are worth much more than lilies.
Always remember!
Matthew 6:33
We must seek Adonai first. He must be first in our thoughts, first in our hearts, and first in our lives. We must live for Him and love Him best of all and better than anything in the world. When we let Him be first, He will take care of us much better than we could ever take care of ourselves!
